Case Study: CLASSIC FOLD TIMBER
Versatility and practicality
With a traditional concept yet a highly contemporary staging, the architecture studio CAA Arquitectes has turned the doors of the Classic Fold Timber system into the main element of the facade of this building they have renovated in Vic.
Classic Fold Timber is a versatile and practical folding door system that offers the possibility of installation in both interior and exterior spaces. In the project by CAA Arquitectes, Saheco hardware becomes panels to cover the balconies and windows in an aesthetic manner that not only provides sun protection when needed but also adds a modern touch to the building.
The SF-322D system is specially designed for wooden panels weighing up to 150kg per pair of leaves, making it ideal for large-sized doors. Despite the weight of the leaves, the sliding is smooth and light thanks to the ball-bearing rollers, and furthermore, the brake stopper provides safety and convenience to the installation.
Classic Fold Timber becomes the main element of the facade of this building.
The versatility of the Classic Fold Timber system is also evident in its mounting options: wall or ceiling; providing perfect adaptability to each installation.
